Returning string players have it easy!
Step One: Instrument Sizing
See me for instrument sizing during the second music class of year. Many of you have grown (probably taller than me!) and may need a new instrument.
- If you have an instrument bring it to school on sizing day and I will check if it is the instrument you can use all year.
- If you returned your instrument last summer, no problem! I will give all students a packet of information for 5th and 6th grade.
Step Two: Bring your instrument to school.
During the following classes, bring your instrument for new finger tapes (pick your color or use the “professional” black tapes). Don’t forget to get your other materials:
- 5th or 6th grade method book
- 1 inch three-ring binder (a new binder or one from the previous year)
- Pencil
